అతి పిన్న వయసులో ప్రపంచ చెస్ ఛాంపియన్ గా నిలిచిన గుకేష్ డీ ని నేడు ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అభినందించారు. ఈ గెలుపు అసాధారణమైన చారిత్రక విజయమని పేర్కొన్నారు.  

అంతర్జాతీయ చదరంగ సమాఖ్య ‘ఎక్స్’ వేదికపై చేసిన పోస్టుకు స్పందిస్తూ:

“ఇది అపూర్వమైన చారిత్రక విజయం!

అసాధారణ విజయాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకున్నా గుకేష్ డీ కి అభినందనలు. తిరుగులేని సత్తా, మొక్కవోని కృషి, పట్టుదల వల్ల ఈ గెలుపు సాధ్యమయ్యింది.
