చంద్రయాన్ మిషన్ గురించి , అంతరిక్ష సాంకేతికత సమర్థత పై ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ దృష్టిపెట్టడం గురించి,  శాస్త్రవేత్తలకు లభిస్తున్న మద్దతు వంటి విషయాలపై ఇస్రో మాజీ ఛైర్మన్ శ్రీ జి. మాధవన్ నాయర్
ఒక వ్యాసం రాశారు. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి ప్రధానమంత్రి కార్యాలయం ఒక పోస్టు పెట్టింది.
“ఇస్రో మాజీ ఛైర్మన్ శ్రీ జి. మాధవన్ నాయర్ చంద్రయాన్ పై ఆలోచనాత్మక , లోతైన అంశాలతో కూడిన వ్యాసం రాశారు. ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ శాస్త్ర సాంకేతికత సమర్థతపై ఎంతగా దృష్టిపెట్టేవారో, అందులో ఆయన వివరించారు. అలాగే శాస్త్రవేత్తలకు ప్రధానమంత్రి అండగా
నిలుస్తున్నందుకు ఆయనకు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.”అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
