பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி அவர்கள், 25 குழந்தைகளுக்கு வீரதீரச் செயல்களுக்கான விருதுகளை வழங்கினார்.
விருதுகள் பெற்ற குழந்தைகளையும், அவர்கள் பெற்றோர்களையும் பாராட்டிய பிரதமர், அவர்களின் சமயோசித புத்தி, தியாகம், மற்றும் சக மனிதர்களுக்கான அக்கறை ஆகியவை அவர்களின் வீரதீரச் செயல்களின் முக்கிய அங்கம் என்று குறிப்பிட்டார்.
விருது பெற்றவர்களுக்கு இந்த வீரதீரச் செயல்கள் அவர்கள் வாழ்க்கையின் முடிவான செயலாக இருந்து விடக் கூடாது என்றார். மாறி வரும் வாழ்க்கையில், அந்தக் குழந்தைகள் தங்கள் வாழ்வை பெருக்கி, சமூகத்துக்கு தங்களால் இயன்ற பணியைச் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றார். இன்று வெளியிடப்பட்ட வீரதீரச் செயல்களுக்கான விருதுகளைப் பெற்றோர் குறித்த புத்தகம், இது குறித்து பேசுவதாக பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் திருமதி மேனகா காந்தி உடனிருந்தார்.
இந்திய குழந்தைகள் நல வாரியம் வியத்தகு வீரதீரச் செயல்களை புரிந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு விருதளிப்பதன் மூலம் மற்ற குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஊக்கமளிப்பதற்காக இந்த விருதுகளை உருவாக்கியது.
