ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ , “ਵਿਜੈ ਦਿਵਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 1971 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੀ | ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ | ”
