ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ/ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਨਜਾਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸ਼ਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਣ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਅੱਪ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਟੈਂਡ ਅੱਪ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ 7 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ।

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ:

 “ਅੱਜ ਅਸੀਂ #7YearsofStandUpIndia  ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਨੇ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ/ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਨਜਾਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸ਼ਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਣ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਦਮ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।”
