ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅਗਸਤ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਪੀਆਈ (UPI) ਲੈਣ-ਦੇਣ ਦੇ 10 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਐੱਨਪੀਸੀਆਈ (NPCI) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐਕਸ (X)’ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ:
“ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਸਾਧਾਰਣ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਹੈ! ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਆਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ।”
