ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି (23.01.2017) ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀଠାରେ 25 ଜଣ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ସାହସିକତା ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପୁରସ୍କାର ବିଜେତା ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ମତ ବିନିମୟ କରି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସାହସ ତତ୍କାଳ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେବାର ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛା ଓ ନିର୍ଭୀକତାର ପରିଚୟ ଦେଉଛି । ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନର ଅନ୍ତିମ ଅଭୀପ୍ସା ହେବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ ଏକ ମହତ୍ଵପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜୀବନର ଅୟମାରମ୍ଭ ଭାବେ ବିବେଚନା କରାଯିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଥିଲେ ।
23 ଜାନୁୟାରୀ – ନେତାଜୀ ସୁଭାଷ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ବୋଷଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିନର ମହତ୍ଵ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରାଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଯେତେ ସମ୍ଭବ ସେମାନେ ଭଲ ପଢିବା ଉଚିତ । ବିଶେଷକରି ମହାପୁରୁଷ, ତୁଙ୍ଗ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ଵ, ବିଦ୍ଵାନ ଓ କ୍ରୀଡାବିତମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନୀ ପଢିବା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉପାଦେୟ । ଏଭଳି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ଵମାନେ ଜୀବନରେ କିଭଳି ମହାନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସବୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ କେଉଁ ଢଙ୍ଗରେ ସାଫଲ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କର ଧ୍ୟେୟ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସାହସିକତା ହେଉଛି ମଣିଷ ମନର ଏକ ଅବସ୍ଥା । ଏକ ସୁସ୍ଥ ଶରୀର ଆମକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିଥାଏ କିନ୍ତୁ ମଣିଷକୁ ଆଗକୁ ବାଟ କଢାଇ ନେବାରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ ଦୃଢ ମନ । ତେଣୁ ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବନରେ ଦୃଢମନା ହେବାକୁ ପଡିବ । ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧି ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନର ପ୍ରଗତି ପଥରେ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ହେବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମହିଳା ଓ ଶିଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ମେନକା ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ।
ଭାରତୀୟ ବାଳ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପରିଷଦ (ICCW) ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏହି ଜାତୀୟ ସାହସିକତା ପୁରସ୍କାର ଯୋଜନା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରାଯାଇଛି । ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରେ ସାହସିକତା, ନିର୍ଭୀକତା, ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତଥା ସମାଜକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣାଦାୟୀ ହେବା ଭଳି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନକୁ ସ୍ଵିକୃତୀ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପ୍ରତି ବର୍ଷ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ ।
