05.04.2025 : ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଆଜି ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଦିଶାନାୟକେ ‘ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କା ମିତ୍ର ବିଭୂଷଣ’ ସମ୍ମାନରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି । କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରି ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋଦୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏହା ଭାରତ ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କାର ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଭୀର ବନ୍ଧୁତା ଏବଂ ଐତିହାସିକ ସମ୍ପର୍କର ପ୍ରତୀକ ।

ଆଜି ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଦିଶାନାୟକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କା ମିତ୍ର ବିଭୂଷଣ ସମ୍ମାନରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ହେବା ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗର୍ବର ବିଷୟ। ଏହି ସମ୍ମାନ କେବଳ ମୋର ନୁହେଁ – ଏହା ଭାରତର ୧୪୦ କୋଟି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସମ୍ମାନ । ଏହା ଭାରତ ଓ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କାର ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଭୀର ବନ୍ଧୁତା ଏବଂ ଐତିହାସିକ ସମ୍ପର୍କର ପ୍ରତୀକ । ଏହି ସମ୍ମାନ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କାର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି, ସରକାର ଏବଂ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ହୃଦୟରୁ କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜଣାଉଛି ।
