पंतप्रधानांनी ह्युस्टन, टेक्सास येथे आज दाऊदी बोहरा समुदायाच्या सदस्यांची भेट घेऊन त्यांच्याशी संवाद साधला.
या समुदायातील सदस्यांनी ह्युस्टन येथे पंतप्रधानांचा सत्कार केला. संवादादरम्यान दाऊदी बोहरा समुदायातील सदस्यांनी सैयदना साहिब यांच्यासोबतचे सहचर्य अधोरेखित केले. मोदींनी मागीलवर्षी इंदोर येथे त्यांच्या समुदायाच्या कार्यक्रमाला हजेरी लावली होती, याची देखील आठवण त्यांनी यावेळी करून दिली.
“दाऊदी बोहरा समाजाने जगभरात आपला एक वेगळा ठसा उमटवला आहे. ह्युस्टनमध्ये त्यांच्यासोबत वेळ घालवण्याची आणि त्यांच्यासोबत विविध विषयांवर चर्चा करण्याची मला संधी मिळाली.” असे पंतप्रधानांनी आपल्या ट्विटर वरील संदेशात सांगितले.
