ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು 2023 ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್‌ 1 ರಂದು ಯುಎಇಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಿಒಪಿ-28 ಶೃಂಗ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಲ್ಡೀವ್ಸ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಡಾ.ಮೊಹಮದ್‌ ಮುಯಿಝ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಪದಗ್ರಹಣ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಯಿಜ್‌ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಜನರಿಂದ ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ಸಹಕಾರ ವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ, ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಹಲವು ವಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಉಭಯ ನಾಯಕರು ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಭಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಪ್ರಮುಖರ ಗುಂಪು ರಚಿಸಲು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದರು.
