પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ભારતના 13મા ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ ચૂંટાવા બદલ શ્રી એમ વૈંકયા નાયડુને અભિનંદન આપ્યા છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, “ભારતના ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ તરીકે ચૂંટાવા બદલ શ્રી એમ વૈંકયા નાયડુ ગારુને અભિનંદન. તેમને તેમનો કાર્યકાળ ફળદાયક અને પ્રોત્સાહક બની રહી એ માટે મારી શુભેચ્છાઓ.
અત્યારે મને પક્ષ અને સરકારમાં એમ વૈંકયા ગારુ સાથે કામ કરવાના પ્રસંગો યાદ આવે છે. હું અમારા જોડાણનું આ પાસું હંમેશા યાદ રાખીશ.
મને ખાતરી છે કે એમ વૈંકયા નાયડુ રાષ્ટ્રનિર્માણના લક્ષ્યાંક પ્રત્યે કટિબદ્ધ ઉત્સાહી અને પ્રતિબદ્ધ ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ તરીકે દેશની સેવા કરશે.”
