প্রধানমন্ত্রী আনন্দের সঙ্গে শ্রীমতী গাবার্ডের সঙ্গে পূর্বেকার আলাপচারিতার কথা স্মরণ করান। সন্ত্রাসবাদ দমন, সাইবার নিরাপত্তা, নতুন ধরনের বিপদ এবং কৌশলগতভাবে গোয়েন্দা তথ্য আদান প্রদান সহ দ্বিপাক্ষিক গোয়েন্দা সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধি করার বিষয়ে আলোচনা হয়। পারস্পরিক স্বার্থ জড়িত আঞ্চলিক এবং আন্তর্জাতিক বিষয়ে তাঁরা মত বিনিময় করেন। নিরাপদ, সুস্থায়ী এবং বিধি সম্মত আন্তর্জাতিক ব্যবস্থার প্রতি দায়বদ্ধতার কথা পুনরায় উল্লেখ করেন তাঁরা।
